The Creativity Center of Alameda
What We Do
The Creativity Center of Alameda collaborates with artists and creative organizations across the island to foster equitable and inclusive access to the arts. Activities include hosting public and private art events, art classes and camps, advocating for the needs of artists, and partnering with community venues looking to add art and public engagement to their spaces.
Carnegie Building Revival
The historic Alameda Carnegie Library Building has been at the heart of our city since 1903, but has now been vacant for over 25 years. We propose to use it for a vibrant community art hub and creativity center.

The Bare Walls Bazaar
If you want real grown up art on your walls but don’t know where to start, this event is for you! Save your walls from more generic box store art. Get something ready to hang and reasonably priced from an Alameda artist!
Alameda Arts Alliance
The City of Alameda is home to a vibrant ecosystem of arts organizations, yet many face ongoing challenges related to marketing, funding, and municipal support. The Alameda Arts Alliance seeks to unite these organizations to strengthen communication, increase advocacy, and facilitate the sharing of resources and information. Our goal is to foster a thriving arts community in Alameda by elevating, supporting, and amplifying the valuable work already being done across the city.
